Who is responsible

This portfolio belongs to Thiago Valeriano Brasil, São Paulo, Brazil, who decides how its data is used. For any question or request about your data, write to viana.design@gmail.com.

With your consent: analytics and session recordings

To learn which parts of the portfolio help visitors, the site uses PostHog, hosted in the United States. If you agree, it records:

the pages and answers you open, the chips and buttons you tap (for example the resume, booking or WhatsApp buttons) and the role you picked;
your answer to the short "was it easy to find" survey, if you reply;
your browser, device type and an approximate location (country or city) that PostHog derives from your IP address;
a recording of how you move through the pages. Text you type in fields and the chat messages you send are hidden from recordings.

The site doesn't use advertising, doesn't sell or share this data, and doesn't build a profile with your name. Your browser keeps a random identifier in local storage, not in a cookie, so that starting a new conversation or picking another role still counts as one visitor. It isn't linked to your name or email. If your browser sends "Do Not Track", nothing is collected.

Without asking: what the site needs to work

Preferences in your browser: light or dark mode, the sidebar state, the role you picked and when the survey was last shown. They stay on your device.
Private case study access: if you ask for a code to open a private case study, your email address is stored on Thiago's server to send the code and keep you signed in. One cookie (__Host-tim_session) keeps you signed in for 24 hours. Codes are stored only in a protected, unreadable form and expire after 10 minutes. Your IP address is stored only as an unreadable digest, to limit abuse. Your email isn't added to any mailing list or shared.

How long

Analytics and recordings are kept for PostHog's standard retention period. Access emails and the security log are kept on Thiago's server until you ask for yours to be deleted.
